The Medical Device Development Center (MDDC) at Rutgers University is an interdisciplinary program that sits within the Biomedical Engineering Department and combines basic research, applied and translational research, education and training, and outreach and industrial engagement all related to medical devices. The MDDC brings together Rutgers University's expertise from the School of Engineering, School of Arts and Sciences, and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences.
